- Using Disconnect Session clause to disconnect the current session by destroying the dedicated server process.
- Using Kill Session clause let you mark a session as terminated, release locks.
Example:
SQL>ALTER SYSTEM DISCONNECT SESSION 'sid,serial#';
SQL>ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'sid,serial#';
